It's Sweater Weather

It’s getting CHILLY outside! And frankly, I’m not too fond of the cold weather. I’m more of a summer girl myself, but I love the holiday season, more time at home, and warm cozy soups and drinks.

Now, in the cold months, I like to layer up. And right now, it’s officially Sweater Weather.

What’s does Sweater Weather mean in your business?

It means to layer up! People need to see your message at least 7 times before they even think about taking action. Let’s chat about 3 quick, effective ways to layer up with online marketing efforts:

  • The Camisole or Tank. Your marketing base. Maybe it’s your website or your business page. No more trying to run and grow a brand from your personal account. Your business profile is your starting point, the foundation of the online layer, so make sure it’s a good strong representation of you. Oh and check it periodically, so you know everything is working the way it should.

  • T-Shirt/Top. This your personality, your brand, your image. What makes you tick. This can also be adding on another platform to engage on. If you’re doing Facebook lives, maybe you can layer your marketing efforts and take those live videos and turn them into a IG Story or Reels. Layer up!

  • Lastly, the last layer is your big chunky sweater. Your last marketing layer is to capture your client’s attention bc with all your layers, they may not have noticed the tank top or t-shirt you were wearing. Your timeline may have missed your Facebook Post or IG caption – so you hit them with an email campaign that comes directly to their inbox with a catchy title that compels them to open.

Don't put all your eggs in one social media basket. Get creative and come up with a layering strategy that works for YOU and YOUR brand.
