3 Ways to Dominate on Social Media

Maybe you’re a business coach or consultant and feel like you’ve been spinning your wheels attracting clients on social media.

Or you’ve been watching others post on social media and recognize you need a few fresh ideas.

Here are 3 ways to refresh your content strategy and dominate on social media.

Tip #1 is to Plan to Fail. Now, you’re probably thinking, “Why would I wanna fail?” But here’s the thing, when you plan to fail, you start to think about all of the scenarios and ways that you might be able to show up on social media. And here’s the other thing, when you plan to fail, you avoid waiting until the last minute to post content. You allow time to test and listen to your timeline’s feedback.

What is your audience telling you to incorporate into your content strategy?

Tip #2 is Change Something. When’s the last time you scheduled a photoshoot for updated content or updated your profile pic? Did you know that if you change the Facebook banner, which is the banner behind your profile photo, it alerts every person on your timeline and lets them know that you got something new and exciting coming? So think about what your change can be.

Can you start showing up in a new way on your timeline with new and fresh content?

Tip #3 is Video. Video is Queen! Did you know that 82% of the content on the internet is video? Including video in your social media strategy will lead to more likes, engagement, comments. Your video content can be an Instagram Live. It can be a prerecorded video or a TikTok. Video content increases the know, like, and trust factor, and people get to hear your voice, see your face and pick up on your vibe.

How you can incorporate video into your strategy to be on top of your game and dominate with your content.

Incorporating these techniques can help make effective changes in how you show up for your clients online. And here’s a bonus tip, none of this works if you are not very clear on who your ideal client is. Be sure to evaluate your ideal client for every program or offer to ensure that your content speaks to them.
